Work in the Helsinki region
🔹Remote work is recommended for all positions and duties where work can be done remotely.
🔹Teaching planned as on-site will be provided on-site.
🔹Meetings are to be held remotely unless face-to-face contact is required.
Research in the Helsinki region
🔹Research that requires on-site presence can be conducted on the premises.
🔹In laboratories, special attention must be paid to health and safety.
🔹We recommend reintroducing a booking system for laboratories.
Travel
🔹Travelling abroad is recommended only when absolutely necessary.
Teaching and studying
🔹This period's teaching and exams will be carried out as planned.
🔹The planning of teaching in spring will continue as before, for now.
🔹Self-study facilities will be kept open, while observing safety guidelines.
🔹Student services can be offered remotely.
Events
🔹Events will be held remotely where possible.
🔹Necessary events can be arranged on-site, while observing safety guidelines.
🔹Small team get-togethers scheduled to be held before Christmas can be held at the discretion of the supervisor or rescheduled.
Face masks and the COVID-19 passport
🔹Protective face masks are to be worn on all University premises when not alone.
🔹Face masks must be worn in teaching and learning situations.
🔹The COVID-19 passport can be required to avoid enforcing restrictions.
