Lights off. During Earth Hour today from 8.30 PM to 9.30 PM, we will shut all non-essential lights of several of our buildings. Obviously, shutting the lights for an hour is not enough on its own to do anything significant about climate change or biodiversity loss. BUT it can serve as a reminder for all of us to do what we can also in everyday activities to reduce over-consumption. E.g. shut down computers and other devices when not using them. What are your best tips for everyday actions that can help tackle climate change and biodiversity loss? Post them in the comments! PS. we've published our first sustainability and responsibility report and our sustainability and responsibility plan for the next couple of years. Check them out: https://www.helsinki.fi/en/about-us/responsibility-and-sustainability?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social_owned Photos from a couple of years back.
