Meet the teacher! In 1998, Noora Pyyry was doing research for her Master’s thesis in the West Bank of the Palestinian territories. She became interested in geography since it looks at our living environments from a broad and complex point of view. Today, Noora teaches, among other topics, a course on the geographies of young people in the Master’s Programme in Geography. ”During the course, we also discuss the methodological choices when working with marginalized groups, i.e. ways in which people can act as “co-researchers” in academic research that has to do with their lives.” The applications to our 35 International Master’s Programmes are open from 1 Dec 2020 to 15 Jan 2021.
