The possibility to study economics with a strong focus on environmental issues and natural resources as well as the interdisciplinary nature of the studies brought Master’s student Jamie Jenkins to Helsinki. He wants to use economics as a tool to tackle global issues such as climate change and plastic pollution. We talked to Jamie Jenkins and professor Timo Sipiläinen what it is like to study in the Master's Programme in Agricultural, Environmental and Resource Economics (AGERE). You can apply to this and our 34 other International Master’s Programmes as of 3 Dec 2019 until 10 Jan 2020.
