“The future of humanity is largely dependent on plants and plant production. That is why we have to understand these organisms by starting from the basic levels of what plants are, what they do and how we can utilise them in a sustainable way.” Johannes Enroth is the Programme Director for the International Master’s Programme in Plant Biology at the University of Helsinki. The programme gives you expertise in how plants communicate, actively adjust to their circumstances and interact with other organisms and their physical and chemical environment. Plants will help you to understand how life works and in what ways humanity can profit from this understanding. You can apply to our International Master’s Programmes as of 3 December 2018 until 11 January 2019.
